Alongside a few faculty members, OTLF participants toured various SickKids facilities and the UHN Rehab Center's laboratories, including the CareLab, ClimateLab, DriverLab, FallsLab, HomeLab, MotionBase, and more. These labs were explored in detail, with explanations provided on their significance, functionality, and users. After the guided tour, UHN members gave an insightful presentation, sharing their backgrounds and current projects. They emphasized to the younger members that careers aren’t confined to what they study at university, and highlighted the crucial role of modern technology in medical research, providing an eye-opening experience for every participant and volunteer in attendance.
